Student Support Service

Scholarship and other Financial Assistance/Awards/Incentives for students, apart from the National Merit Scholarship, State Merit Scholarship and SC/ST/OBC Scholarship. Besides, various departments and faculty members offer financial assistance and awards to those students under various conditions as detailed under.

A) Department of Assamese : The Department awards cash prize of Rs. 500/- to students who get  60% or above  marks in Assamese Major in B.A. qualifying examination.

B) Department of Bodo : The Department provides financial support of Rs. 200/- to B.A. qualifying  students who secure 70 % or above marks in Bodo Major.

C) Department of Economics : The Department provides financial support of Rs. 500/- to the student  who secure highest marks in Economics Major in B.A. qualifying examination subject to minimum of 55 %  marks.

D) Department of Education : Dr. Runumi Bhagabati, HOD, Department of Education, offers  cash award of Rs.1000/- to every student of the college who secure 60 % or above marks in B.A. qualifying examination.

E) Department of History : The Department of History awards Rs. 500/- cash who secures 60 % or above in B.A. qualifying examination.

F) Department of Political Science : The Department offers Rs. 1000/- to each student who secures First Class in B.A. Qualifying examination.

G) Department of Philosophy : The Department offers Rs. 1000/- to each student who secures at least 60% marks in Philosophy Major in Final Examination.
