Higher Secondary Course
Higher Secondary Course consists of two parts: H.S. 1st Year & H.S. 2nd Year The college offers the privilege of imparting studies in the faculty of Arts only under the aegis of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. A student who passed H.S.L.C. or equivalent Examination may be admitted to H.S. 1st Year and shall have to opt for four optional subjects, out of which one automatically becomes the fourth subject in which he/she secures least marks. Compulsory subject : 1. English 2. MIL (Assamese, Bodo, Alternative English, Hindi) & Environmental Studies Optional Subjects : 1. Economics 2. Political Science 3. Education 4. Logic & Philosophy 5. Advance Assamese, Advanced Bodo, or Sanskrit or Mathematics 6. History or Statistics. Curriculum options remain the same in H.S. 2nd year without any change, however, there remains no environmental studies subject.

Course of Study: Three Years Degree Course (TDC/B.A. Semester Course)
The college offers the privilege of imparting studies in the faculty of Arts only under the aegis of Bodoland University, Kokajhar. A student who passed higher secondary or equivalent examination may be admitted to B.A 1st year and shall have to opt for the subjects as stated below. Subjects: English, MIL (Assamese/Bodo/Alternative English). Honours Subjects: Assamese, Bodo, Economics, Education, English, Philosophy, Political Science, History, Statistics and Sanskrit. Elective Subjects(GE): Assamese, Bodo, English, Economics, Education, English, Philosophy, Political Science, History, Sanskrit and Statistics. Three Years Degree Course (TDC/BA) consists of Six Semester covering three Academic Year with three odd semesters and same number of even semesters.

Time Period: First, Third and Fifth Semester:

- Student’s performance is monitored throughout the Semester by continuous assessment in the theory and practical courses. Evaluation of the Students performance in each of the theory and practical paper are based on the following:
- Internal Evaluation: 20 % (Major)
- External Evaluation : 80 % Marks
- Internal Evaluation is based on two sessional examinations, home assignments, Seminars and library work in each Semester.
- External Evaluation is based on Final Examination at the end of the Semester.
- The pass marks in each theory paper is 40 % and in each practical paper is 40 %
- In each paper, students must secure pass marks in both the internal as well as the external evaluation separately.
Master of Arts
The college offers Masters in Assamese & Philosophy under Bodoland University. This Course opens from the session 2020-2021. Seat capacity is 25 in Master of Assamese & Philosophy. This course has been named as self Financing Course.
IDOL Study Centre
STUDY CENTER: INSTITUTE OF DISTANCE AND OPEN LEARNING (IDOL)
With a view to provide Higher Education (upto Post Graduate level) to the poor and meritorious students of the locality the college has already started a Post Graduate Contact Centre under Institute of Distance and Open Learning, Gauhati University. The Centre provides admission and supplies study materials to the students offering PG Courses in Assamese, English, Economics, History, Political Science, Mathematics and M. Com.

Note: Examination Centre of IDOL has been allotted from the year 2014.

KKHSOU Study Centre
STUDY CENTER: INSTITUTE OF DISTANCE AND OPEN LEARNING (IDOL)
The College opens a Study Centre of Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) for higher Education to facilitate those desirous students who are deprived of formal education. The Centre offers the following courses:
Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP)
The University gives opportunities to those who have not passed 10+2 but are desirous of undergoing higher studies. For such persons the university offers Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) to qualify themselves to take admission in the degree courses. There will be four papers in the BPP out of which courses I is compulsory and any one of the remaining three courses is to be selected by the learners. This course is being now removed from the University from the year 2012.
Bachelor of Arts (B. A.)
Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
The Centre is going to start Bachelor of Computer Application from the session 2012-13. Intending students are directed to contact the co-ordinator for their admission.
