Profile

The Department of Botany was established in 2023 as one of the faculties of science stream in the college. It offers the basic understanding about plants and their applied aspects for wellbeing of human society and conservation of natural resources. The entire course will provide insightful contents about the subject concerned, its scopes and provides an opportunity to develop problem solving attitude for further scientific exploration and future employment. The department provides practical oriented and activity based holistic learning for undergraduate course as per New Education Policy 2020.

To create the skill oriented and dynamic mindset of students for the sustainable living with self- dependent economy by dedicated imparting of botanical knowledge to the society. To make the future generation ready enough to contribute to the society and the nation to realize the dream of “Amrit Kaal Vision” of new India.
